WebMoisture-wicking is generally found in fabrics labeled as hydrophobic. That term means ‘afraid of the water’ but these materials are not afraid of water, they just repel it instead of absorbing it. They are very good at keeping you drier longer as it takes a lot of water before that moisture-wicking ability is overcome and stops working.
