I hear that HAAS is no longer selling the purple grease and it is replaced by the tan. Wondering if the VF3 will start gathering this residue once my purple supply is gone ... WebApr 1, 2024 · The restrictor flow grease lubrication system uses restrictor fittings [1] and adapter fittings [2] in the axis manifolds. The linear guide trucks use adapter fittings [3]. Note: Adapter fittings are smaller than restrictor fittings and do not restrict the flow of grease. Note: The copper tubes on this system are not equal length.

WebDon’t do it. Don’t go on your own for grease. Spindles are expensive and the grease lasts a very long time. If you machine has a warranty buy the haas grease. Don’t give them a reason to deny your warranty If your machine doesn’t have a warranty you still need to use the correct grease but you don’t have to buy it from Haas.
