It's not even exactly 0.9mm, the thread on standard fittings is actually 1/8" BSP, which is 28tpi and about 9.8mm diameter, though the differences in diameter and pitch are too small to matter here. Anyway, BSP is one of the standards available in Fusion 360. WebNov 23, 2024 · For 3D surfacing SurfCam has a setting for surface tolerance, again finer values give a better finish. The biggest one is changing the triangulation tolerance to something way smaller. Instead of tolerance*0.5 make it tolerance*0.05 or tolerance*0.005, or whatever.

WebDec 1, 2024 · Your problem may be that you're trying to cut a Metric, or UN thread with an AG60 insert. This can work but the cam system will rely on you knowing what the difference in height from the .003" rad to the radii the thread you're cutting is by setting your thread depth correctly. WebSelect the angled faces of the bolt thread and use the offset tool (Hotkey is Q) to push it back around 0.1mm, and then do the same with the faces on the nut. You might find them to be too perfect to fit each other in real life. Give them some space and try again. That is the problem.
