You should be using images in 16 bit per channel (or higher) and not crappy jpgs (8bit per channel compressed). On top of that you should not use sRGB for either map, but Non-color. sRGB will distort the map information.

WebJun 13, 2024 · Actually I haven't tried this on Blender myself and I'm unsure how long it takes to bake, but resizing the input image x2 is how blurring is avoided, if its small by x4. I need to experiment with the cycles engine to see what settings need to be tweaked so baking doesn't take too long.
