It is also one of the essential features indicating the restoration process of ecosystems (Mori et al., 2024). Our study showed that mixed grazing of cattle and sheep differently affected the biodiversity across different trophic levels. Our results showed that cattle, rather than sheep, maintain the plant diversity in grasslands (Fig. 2).
